About

We install automation — you run it

papsbot sets up AI agents and workflow automation for small teams. One workflow at a time, supervised by default, with docs you keep.

Who we are

papsbot is a small, remote practice focused on practical automation — not platform sales. We work with teams of roughly five to fifty people who have repeating workflows across email, documents, spreadsheets, and lightweight SaaS tools. You bring the process; we wire the connections, set guardrails, and document how to operate what we build.

Email us at hello@papsbot.com. We reply within two business days.

How we work

Every engagement follows the same three steps:

  1. Scope — map the workflow, list tools, define what needs human approval, agree limits in writing.
  2. Pilot — one end-to-end flow with logging and a kill switch. You see it work before expanding.
  3. Handoff — runbooks, credential notes, and optional follow-up. You own the code and config.

We prefer scripts for stable, repeating tasks and add AI only where judgement or language understanding actually helps. See AI agent basics for how we think about agents vs scripts.

Handoff model

Every pilot ends with assets your team keeps: source code or exportable configs, a runbook with start/stop steps, credential notes (never secrets in the doc itself), and a short list of what requires human approval. Supervised checkpoints are built in for customer-facing output — draft, review, then send. You get logging and a kill switch so ops can pause the workflow without calling us.

When a workflow is a poor fit for automation, we document why and suggest a lighter alternative — often a checklist or a smaller script. See this example and the readiness check for how we frame those decisions.
